In his new book, Justin Bieber reveals that he deals with temptation in a tried-and-true way: by turning to a higher power (God).
“I’m a Christian, I believe in God, I believe that Jesus died on a cross for my sins,” Bieber says in a new interview about the memoir. “I believe that I have a relationship and I’m able to talk to him and really, he’s the reason I’m here, so I definitely have to remember that. As soon as I start forgetting, I’ve got to click back and be like, you know, this is why I’m here.”
Justin says that he’s already seen the dark side of Hollywood, calling it “a scary place” where “there’s a lot of bad things, but there’s also a lot of good things.” In addition to staying focused on God, he also tries to stay focused on the future of his music career — as in, making sure it has a future.
His goals don’t end there, though; Justin Bieber also wants to have a family before he hits middle age.
“I see myself being, like, thirty, like married, like probably. I don’t know. It seems far away for me,” he admits. “But I want to be a young dad.”
