The previous evening, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez celebrate Justin’s 17th birthday with a romantic dinner at Maggiano’s at The Grove.
Upset by the attention Justin raised his middle finger to the photographers as he drove off.
The pictures have since circulated online around the world, within hours Justin issued an apology to fans and parents who may have been offended.
He says he’ll “try to do right” in the future and not “react in anger”.
He tweeted:
“Had a great bday and at the end of the night we got surrounded by paps and I reacted in a way I know better. I’m sorry. It’s not always easy but I know better than to react in anger,”
“Life has it’s ups and downs but u guys r always there 4 me. I will make my mistakes but I promise 2 continue 2 grow with u and try 2 do right.”
