We’ve posted about the SOPA ‘censorship’ bill before. If the bill passes, “streaming or otherwise using copyrighted music in an online video punishable by up to five years in prison.” That means all the YouTube videos Justin posted of himself singing music by other artists before he became famous would be illegal and he could be tried and sent to prison for 5 years!
Justin is an example of someone who could go to jail for singing cover songs to get famous on Youtube. Yes, Congress is out of touch.

Singing cover songs and upload them to youtube is not concerned by the bill,
The fine exemple of this bill are the videos uploaded on youtube contening images( copyrighted or not) where original music is added on…
The website(YouTube) would be shut down for the day but Justin Bieber would not go to jail

We shouldn’t just do this for Justin….this bill could affect us too!! No more videos for us! Whether he goes to jail or not we should all sign the petition on google. It’s also not just about being able to post videos…the government has been trying to take away our freedom of speech including occupy wall street situation!!! Let’s all stand up for what we believe in!!!!

I know about this stuff and the new bill. But I don’t know what’s gonna happen with the votes. People are encouraging it. I saw lots who are. But I guess more are not agreeing with it. Like the guy who threw the firecracker at the white house who’s known as “annoymonus” If this bill passes. I will die. No I really will because JB will be in prison for 5 years.
