After the British comedian Rickey Gervais poked fun at Justin while he was hosting the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 15, 2012), beliebers immediately began to attack him via twitter.
During his opening speech at the event – Gervais said: “The only way that he [Justin] could have impregnated a girl was if he borrowed one of Martha Stewart’s old turkey basters.”
But his jokes touched a nerve with the Beliebers, and the angry fans slammed mr.Gervais on Twitter – with some even making death threats.
“You dont know what your talking bout justin bieber, your a mean t**t, you dont know naffing,” one tweeted.
Another wrote: “Ricky Gervais. I hate you. I love Justin Bieber!! do not mess with justin i kill you.”
Acknowledging the Bieber rage, Gervais wrote: “Getting out of town now. Bieber fans aren’t happy with me. That’s some scary sh** Ha ha. Bye LA. hello NY!”
But Gervais isn’t worried about the angry fans as he poked fun at the teen’s fans even more.
The Office star tweeted a pictured of himself with an ickle puppy along with the caption: “OK. I’ve got enough protection against Bieber fans now.”

I hate to admit it, but some fans are really stupid and mean sometimes. First of all, sending death threats is never okay. This has happened too many times to too many people (Selena, etc.). Ricky Gervais was making a little harmless joke, and even Justin would have found it funny. It’s okay to back up Justin, but the guy’s a comedian and it’s his job to make jokes. And people should never go to the extent that they are making death threats. And Justin does look sexy in this. LOL just went on a rant
