Its Official, Justin Bieber Becomes Youngest Artist with Five #1 Albums

Justin Bieber becomes the youngest artist to land five chart-topping albums in the US on Wednesday (Feb6) when his latest record, “Believe Acoustic,” debuted atop the Billboard 200 album chart.

As expected, “Believe Acoustic” sold 211,000 copies in its first week according to figures from Nielsen SoundScan.

The album also topped iTunes downloads charts in 63 countries, and became a hot topic on Twitter as the Beliebers raced to purchase the record as soon as it was released.

Justin previously collected No. 1 albums with “My World 2.0″ (2010), “Never Say Never: The Remixes” (2011), “Under the Mistletoe” (2011) and “Believe” (2012).

He was tied with Miley Cyrus with four chart-topping albums before turning 19, and he is  the only one of nine artists in Billboard history to have a No. 1 album for four consecutive years.

    He certainly deserves the grammy for his acoustic album. It is free of the auto-tune,electronic effects, and other artifacts in most albums today. It is also very well recorded. The guitar work is fabulous.

    Even if he won 10 grammys, there will always be those who think he’s not talented. It’s because by putting him down they try to bring up their favorites. My guy or group is better than yours is their thinking. When he raps the comparison is always with Tupac or Eminem for example. When he sings and dances the comparison is always with Michael Jackson or Justin Timberlake. If he played basketball they would compare him unfavorably to Michael Jordan-get the point?
