Former child star, Christina Aguilera think Justin Bieber should stay honest and maybe take some time away from the spotlight — and camera.
She tells Hollyscoop at “The Voice”Season 4 premiere:
You live life and it’s hard to grow up in front of a camera.
You learn as you get older to take moments for yourself, step away from the camera, re-inspire yourself as an artist, rejuvenate and refresh.
Christina also advised Justin to be more independent and stand up to those who are pushing him around.
I would tell Bieber, don’t let anything morph you or push you around or have you be something you’re not.
I’ve always been really honest and true to my own roots and been really grounded, not letting myself stray too much.

Justin had a difficult time in London earlier this month when he was criticized after rocking up two hours late for a gig at The O2. He was also involved in an extraordinary clash with a cameraman outside his hotel. Plus, breaking up with long time girlfriend Selena Gomez.

So she’s trying to explain away her not being around for however many years? Lol, I don’t really like her, I had to say it. But that said, it’s a little hard for him to step out right now. I understand what she’s saying, but for now, that’s close to impossible. I agree with her saying don’t let anything change him. Being a celebrity takes a lot out of you and it’s kind of easy to change who you are. But I like people who stay true to themselves, and I think that’s the best way to go. So that is important.
What dont you understand,taking a break is the best thing for justin and also his health.

Um, I wasn’t saying he shouldn’t. I was saying that right now it’s going to be difficult. I agree with her that he should, I’m just saying that since he’s pretty much in the spotlight now, it’s gonna take quite a bit of work to come out of it. I’m actually most afraid that he’ll burn out. Justin is stuck with a busy concert schedule so he has to stick by it. Then he has a movie script written for him by Mark Wahlberg to filming in late 2013 or 2014. He’s young and energetic but he does need a break probably between the end of Believe tour and filming-no night clubs Justin!

Justin has so much presure on him, look at all the people and family he supports. The crew is huge. He never likes to let anyone down, good quality but detramental to his health and mental well being. He has not stopped for almost 5 years I am really afraid for him and Scooter and Usher should be too but remember he is their cash cow. I love the kid but I just wish he would stop doing strange things and pull up his pants. I will never get that it looks so bad and from behind it looks like he took a big dump. I am sorry but it does.
I agree they should stop overworking him. He can’t travel everywhere to please everyone. He can’t spend all his time following fans. We demand too much. As for his pants, he has to be more conscious of the fact paps like pics that don’t make you look good. They do this with celebrities. He should not wear sack like pants like that in public. All this I say as an older guy who likes and respects him like a son or younger brother.

I think he should take a break for a little. Doing concerts and meet-n-greets probably stresses him out and makes him tired. I just think he should step out of the spotlight for a while enjoy a normal life with friends and family.

Some artists have suffered from exhaustion from working to hard. It is not good for you. I think all he needs is a week or two of good rest with no partying in night clubs. Traveling like he does is exhausting not to mention the concert schedule. Beleivers should not insist he travel to every country to perform-it’s too much.
