Blake Shelton Defends Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus in Bizarre Twitter feud
The Voice‘s judge Blake Shelton had an interesting conversation on Twitter that ended up having him defending both Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus against the haters.
In a rather bizarre Twitter rant, some of Blake’s followers tried to say that Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus are simply products of P.R. Apparently, Blake is a huge Belieber, as he replied with the following tweets:
@BlakeShelton: You can’t sell records with publicity or hype. No matter what anyone says. People buy music because they’re moved by the song or artist.
@RachelRSL: Disagree: Bieber = nothing but publicity & hype.
@BlakeShelton: Oh!!! Because YOU don’t like him…
As for the Miley twerking’s critics, Blake had some more opinions to offer. When user @planet12law tried to claim:
@planet12law: Miley Cyrus album was only top billing because she twerked on Robin Thicke & swung naked on a Wrecking Ball #FACTS.
@BlakeShelton: Billing didn’t make her album #1. People paying for it did. Also @planet12law…Side note: I personally think “Wrecking Ball” is a great song.
@Alour: @blakeshelton @planet12law And people paid for it because, despite any shenanigans, the music itself is decent.
