Justin Bieber has raised more than half of his intended $1 million donation for Super Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) relief efforts.
Using Prizeo, a campaign website that works with celebrities to support different causes, the project has, as of writing, gathered over $600,000. All money gathered is used to fund shelter, medical care, clean water, safe sanitation, and the building of schools for Yolanda survivors, through the charities Action Against Hunger, UNICEF, and Philam Foundation.
In addition to delivering a check for $500,000 to the Philam Foundation, Justin also had a meet and greet and performed for the Typhoon victims which served as further motivation after the disaster hit the country. VIEW PHOTOS
