As of February 19, 2015, “Baby” has more than a billion views.
In May 2013, the Recording Industry Association of America (R.I.A. A.) officially recognized “Baby” as the highest certified digital single in U.S. music history.
The song was awarded its Diamond status after going 12-times Platinum and dethroning Elton John’s 1973 double-A “Candle in the Wind/ Something About The Way You Look” in the process.

Wow! Still find it hard to think that it really has been a whole 5 years since “Baby” was released as a music video! To think that Drake who is an extra in the video was unknown at the time while it was Justin who was the one that was just becoming a superstar..
