Justin Bieber has been announced as the headline artist on the first day of the three-day Fusion Festival in Birmingham, UK 2015.
Justin will hit the stage for a full 60 minutes in Crofton Park, Birmingham on Friday, August 28.
In a statement on Tuesday, Justin said, “There are some great artists on the line-up so to be headlining the Friday night is a real honor,” Sky News reports.
Notably, the night before Justin tweeted, “I miss performing. Time to get back to that.)”
On Wednesday, Justin also tweeted: “honored to be headlining Fusion Festival Birmingham UK on Aug 28th. tickets on sale friday at 9am UK time. It’s time.”
Justin’s appearance at the Fusion Festival will mark his first in the UK since 2013 during his Believe Tour.
News of Justin’s headlining gig was announced on his Facebook account, and London’s Capital FM Radio early Tuesday. The station is working in association with the festival.
Justin spoke to Capital FM’s Rob and Katy on Tuesday morning and said, “This is the new JB. I’ve been working a lot in the studio… working a lot in the dance studio… and I’m ready to get back out there and give love to the fans.”
Also announced for the event are Tinie Tempah, Rixton, DJ Fresh, Fuse ODG, Rudimental and McBusted.
Tickets for Fusion Festival with Vimto go on sale from Friday, March 27 at 9 a.m. and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.co.uk
