Justin Bieber tries to hold back his tears after his performance at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards held at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday (August 30) in Los Angeles.
Justin performed an amazing medley of “Where Are U Now” and his brand new single “What Do You Mean?”. This is the first song Justin has dropped in over three years, and he was clearly emotional by the crowd’s response.

Justin performed both “Where Are U Now” and his latest single, “What Do You Mean,” before the theater went dark, signaling the beginning of his voiceover. In the spoken-word outro, he talks about how falling makes you stronger and calls life a “journey, sometimes a battle.”
After the pre-taped monologue wrapped, Justin descended from the ceiling Peter Pan-style — and broke down in tears. See his emotional response (which host Miley Cyrus subsequently cut short by making jokes about his age).
