Justin Bieber has granted a grieving mum’s wish – by giving a signed photo to go into the coffin of her teenage daughter.
Tragic Megan Evans, 14, was a “huge fan” of JB and had tickets for his show later this year. But she was found dead at home after allegedly being targeted by bullies on Snapchat and Facebook .
Her heartbroken mom Nicola, 40, wanted to raise awareness of cyberbullying after Megan took her own life.
And Nicola told how her “beautiful and caring” daughter was obsessed by Justin Bieber – and had tickets to see him later this year.
Nicola said: “Megan loved Justin Bieber. We got her Justin Bieber tickets for Christmas and she sobbed. It was her dream to get some signed memorabilia from him.”
Following Megan’s death Nicola launched a social media campaign to try and reach Justin and ask him to donate an item of memorabilia ahead of the funeral.
And just one day before the service, Nicola cried “tears of happiness” after receiving a signed photo with Megan’s name and a heart drawn on it.
Nicola said: “I never thought I would ever cry tears of happiness again – but I was wrong. Our beautiful, beautiful Megan will be looking down on us now, smiling from ear to ear, as her dream has come true.”
Megan’s funeral took place Feb 20, at a church in her hometown before a cremation service later in the day.
A spokesman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Dyfed Powys police is investigating the sudden death of a 14-year-old girl. There are no suspicious circumstances. Next of kin and HM Coroner have been informed.”
