As previously reported, Justin Bieber’s Mom, Pattie Mallete, has been involved in the making of a short movie that pushes anti-abortion views. The Chicago Sun Times has reported that Pattie’s film makes Justin Bieber very uncomfortable.
A source tells the Sun Times :
“Justin is uncomfortable in general about political causes, especially ones like abortion that are very divisive. He’s all about entertaining his fans with his music and not interested in pushing a political agenda. … Furthermore, I don’t believe he agrees with his mom on this issue.”
While Justin may disagree with his mom’s views, in many respects he owes his life to the views she holds, given that she became pregnant during her teens after abuse and drug problems, for many abortion may seem the ‘easy way out’.
Justin Bieber’s mom, Pattie Mallette is making an anti-abortion short film ‘Crescendo’.
Pattie herself is an executive producer for the movie, and will appear in the movie, said production company Movie to Movement on Friday. She has written and spoken extensively about the addiction and abuse that led to her teenage pregnancy.
She hopes to raise $10 million for pregnancy centers at screenings worldwide starting Feb. 28.
Pattie said in a statement she hopes her involvement with “Crescendo” will “encourage young women all over the world, just like me, to let them know that there is a place to go, people who will take care of you and a safe home to live in if you are pregnant and think you have nowhere else to turn.”
A belieber tells Justin’s mom Pattie Mallette she’s happy with the pro-life decision Pattie made — and Justin responds!
Twitter user Harnitarh with username @ImaPurpleNinjah sent Justin’s mom @pattiemallette a message on March 4, writing:
“@pattiemallette Thank you so much for not abortin @justinbieber Im so grateful nd #ILoveYouSoMuch”.
Justin saw the message and he retweeted and responded:
“@ImaPurpleNinjah that was intense. umm. i guess im happy about that too.”
Pattie must be pleased — if a little confused — by this belieber’s support!
