Do you ever wish you were just a regular kid?
I am a regular kid.
Well, not really…
You know what, as long as I keep thinking to myself and always remaining humble, I think that I am a regular kid and knowing that nothing is going to stop me from being who I am, then I’m going to be fine.
How do you think you have stayed so down to earth?
Well, I keep the people that I grew up with, you know, Ryan, my friend, he’s always outside the room.
Literally or metaphorically?
Both (laughs). He grew up with me. His dad was my football coach when I was like eight, so I think just being able to keep such close people around me. I mean, that’s what keeps me humble. He goes everywhere with me.
Carly Rae Jepsen chatted with MTVnews. In the interview, she shared that Justin has been a “trouper” throughout his recent struggles.
If there’s anybody who I think can pull off what it means to be a professional performer, it’s Justin because, yeah, it was chaotic week, but he sang even when he was feeling kind of like light of breath and showed us that old saying ‘The show must go on’ is really true — So, I’m proud of him.
I think there are moments where you do feel very much like this is a day of heavy press or a day of show time. And that is a lot of sort of being right out there in the wide open. But there’s also a lot of downtime. And luckily, I am touring with people who I consider my dearest friends, my bandmates, my brothers. And, the whole team that I’m traveling with are just good people, good hard-working people. So we get out downtime and lots of out of the limelight moments as well and that’s when I’m really mischievous.

Does mom Pattie want her son Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez to get back together?
In an appearance on the “Today” show Thursday, Pattie hit the morning talk show to promote her film “Crescendo I” about mother attempted abortion. But the conversation eventually turned to JELENA’s relationship.
Todays’s host Savannah Guthrie asked:
“Everybody watches his personal life, we know about this relationship with Selena. I don’t know if moms get a vote, but are you hoping they keep it going?”
Mom Pattie said:
“You know, I just try and support whatever he’s wanting and I think she’s a sweetheart, and whatever they decide is great.”
